2.1. Location Information (Geolocation)

To provide our core features such as "discovering nearby campgrounds", "navigation" and "route planning", we collect your real-time location data (GPS) with your permission.

Purpose of Use: To show you the nearest campgrounds, provide navigation and enable you to create camping routes.
Permission Status: This data is only processed when the application is open or when active services such as navigation are being used.

2.2. Usage and Device Data

To improve our service quality, we may automatically collect technical data related to your device:

Device model, operating system version, language preferences.
In-app interactions (buttons clicked, campgrounds viewed).
Crash logs.

2.3. AI Assistant Conversations (Premium)

Your conversations with our AI assistant (Caravan) are stored in association with your account to improve service quality and prevent misuse. Your conversation history is kept for as long as your account is active and is permanently deleted when you delete your account.

Purpose of Data Use

To recommend the most suitable campgrounds and provide a personalized experience.
To analyze your campground reviews and statistics.
To provide real-time weather and location-based alerts.
To maintain the technical functionality of the application.

Data Sharing and Third Parties

We never sell your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes. However, data may be shared with the following service providers necessary for the operation of the application:

Map Services: For displaying campgrounds and navigation (e.g., Mapbox, Google Maps).
Analytics Tools: For performance measurement.

Data Security

We use industry-standard encryption methods (SSL/TLS) and security protocols to protect your data. However, we remind you that no data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

User Rights

As a user, you have the following rights:

To learn how your data is being used.
To revoke location permissions granted through the application from your device settings.
To request complete deletion of your data.

Children's Privacy

Stay Camp does not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13. If we discover that data has been collected without parental consent, we will immediately delete this data from our systems.
